SAN FRANCISCO---Salesforce.com Dreamforce Conference Apisphere Inc., a leading provider of location-awareness services for mobile business applications and devices, today announced Apisphere for Salesforce CRM, a geo-triggered voice interface that provides real-time location intelligence to enable sales organizations to better manage their meeting, planning and forecasting functions. The combination of Apispheres location-awareness solution with the Salesforce CRM application allows companies to push client-specific information directly to a sales representatives mobile device or GPS-enabled laptop to optimize each and every customer meeting. Built using the Force.com platform, Apisphere for Salesforce CRM will be available shortly for test drive and deployment on the Force.com AppExchange at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange.

The announcement was made today at Dreamforce 08, salesforce.coms user and developer conference.

Leveraging its Geo-Enabled Mobility (GEM) platform, Apisphere has developed a location-intelligent voice interface to provide sales teams with the relevant information they need for each customer meeting. As a sales person enters the vicinity of a customer meeting, client data from Salesforce CRM is instantly pushed directly to his or her mobile device via a phone call, email, SMS or MMS. Immediately following the meeting, as the salespersons physical location changes, an automatic geo-triggered voice alert prompts the salesperson to update the client record in Salesforce CRM. The salesperson makes the update on-the-spot verbally over the phone, or by requesting the record be sent to a mobile device or GPS-enabled laptop to update at a later time.

By adding location intelligence to Salesforce CRM, Apisphere is helping organizations become more efficient and more effective at maximizing their sales cycles, said Craig Harper, CEO, Apisphere. With sales intelligence delivered at the right time, the right place and in the right context, companies will be confident knowing that their sales teams have all the right information to close the next deal and be able to better understand the factors influencing the growth of customer relationships.

Apispheres technology not only gives salespeople the ability to access the pertinent information required to best support their customers where and when they need it; it also generates a valuable new type of location-based business intelligence. For example, by tracking and analyzing the amount of time top sellers spend at their customer locations, companies can identify the optimal amount of time required to close a sales deal. This location-driven insight helps organizations to optimize their sales cycles as well as establish key performance indicators and best practices to maximize their competitive edge.
